The container vessel MV Selen, operated by National Logistics Corporation (NLC) under AP Line, has successfully berthed at Karachi Port following its voyage from Jebel Ali. This marks the first Pakistan-bound container vessel to arrive subsequent to recent disruptions affecting maritime transit through the Strait of Hormuz.

According to a spokesperson for the Karachi Port Trust, the vessel’s arrival signifies the restoration of containerized trade operations and reflects an improvement in the stability of maritime supply chains, which had been adversely impacted by regional geopolitical tensions.
