Two PAS Officers Transferred To OGRA On Deputation

The federal government has transferred two senior officers of the Pakistan Administrative Service (PAS) to the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority on deputation, pursuant to separate notifications issued by the Establishment Division.

The officers transferred to the petroleum sector regulator are Majid Mohsin Panhwar and Flt. Lt. (Retd.) Imran Ali Sultan.

According to the official notifications, the services of both officers have been placed at the disposal of OGRA, which functions under the administrative oversight of the Cabinet Division.

The appointments have been made on a deputation basis under standard terms and conditions for an initial period of one year, effective immediately and continuing until further orders are issued by the competent authority.

Prior to his transfer, Majid Mohsin Panhwar was serving as Director General at the President’s Secretariat on deputation.

The notification relating to Panhwar stated that the BS-20 Pakistan Administrative Service officer had been transferred and assigned to OGRA under the Cabinet Division to perform duties within the petroleum sector regulatory framework.

In a separate order, the Establishment Division approved the transfer of Flt. Lt. (Retd.) Imran Ali Sultan to OGRA.

Before his assignment to the regulator, Imran Ali Sultan was serving under the Government of Punjab.

The Establishment Division confirmed that both notifications have been formally issued and will be incorporated in the forthcoming edition of the Gazette of Pakistan.
