Idrees Textile Mills Temporarily Suspends Production

Idrees Textile Mills Limited has temporarily stopped production at its mill as it moves forward with shareholder-approved measures designed to improve profitability by optimising its assets and infrastructure.

In a notice submitted to the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), the company stated that the suspension would facilitate the implementation of a special resolution passed by shareholders during an extraordinary general meeting held on June 27, 2026.

According to the company, the temporary production shutdown is part of a broader strategy focused on making more effective use of its existing assets and infrastructure to strengthen financial performance.

However, Idrees Textile Mills has not disclosed how long the suspension will continue or when manufacturing operations are expected to resume.

The company added that it would continue to inform the stock exchange and shareholders about any significant developments related to the execution of the approved measures.
