The government has raised the price of high-speed diesel (HSD) by Rs1.91 per litre to Rs393.66, while maintaining petrol prices at Rs377.71 per litre for October 24–26, 2026.

According to the Petroleum Division, the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has revised the ex-depot rates of petroleum products in line with the pricing mechanism established by the federal government.

Under the latest adjustment, diesel will now sell at Rs393.66 per litre, compared with its previous rate of Rs391.75. Meanwhile, the price of motor spirit, commonly known as petrol, remains unchanged at Rs377.71 per litre.

The revised rates will apply for the three-day period from October 24 to October 26, 2026.

The Petroleum Division attributed the adjustment to developments in international markets, including changes in Platts prices, premiums and incidental costs.

The increase in diesel prices is expected to add to fuel expenses for transporters, farmers and other users who rely on diesel-powered vehicles and machinery. Petrol consumers, however, will face no price change during the specified period.

Additional information on the revised petroleum rates can be accessed through the price publications section of OGRA's official website.
